look here http://dragcave.net/viewdragon/n/Fink%27regh

see text:

White dragons are pacifists, and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can't bring back the dead. They only eat plants, and never kill living things

some kid who didn't pay much attention during biology class obviously wrote the descriptions.

anyway what kind of game is it? something like tamagochi?

wassup

Plants prosper from being eaten. Pruning, my good man.

You adopt eggs, get them to hatch with views and clicks, get the hatchlings to grow up with views/clicks, and can then breed them to produce new eggs, which you can choose to keep one or send them all to be adopted by other people. Some dragon varieties are rarer than others.

Basically it's a HUGE waste of time. You try to get rare eggs and group up w/ a bunch of people who do the same thing, and then click each others eggs a bunch so they'll hatch (actually just so the Dragon people can get a TON of ad money), then click each others hatchlings til they grow up, and then you have an ugly pixel picture of a dragon, which you can trade and breed w/ other people's ugly pixel pictures. The more of them you collect, the bigger your E-peen. That's your reward for all that wasted time and ad revenue you've given them.
Sounds like a raw deal? It is. It's supremely stupid.

Don't hold back... Tell us how you really feel.

They have ads? Ah, Firefox must have blocked them...

Dissing other people's harmless entertainment sounds more like E-peen-swinging than collecting pixelated dragons, but maybe that's just me.

I'm not dissing you guys, I'm dissing the people behind the site. If I said cutting is a horrible practice, would you say that I'm dissing cutters? I'm not trying to offend people, I just think it's a worthless site that exploits the internet generation's propensity to habits and addictions to things that have no merit. I realize that you feel like you have a lot vested in this site since you have 19 of the things, but honestly, do you get anything out of it besides a little dopamine when you feed your addiction? I don't see anything entertaining about it.

I really don't feel like I have much vested in it at all, it hardly takes up any time at all. It's not exactly difficult to click eggs.

The owner of the site isn't charging people, so I don't see any 'exploitation' going on. If the guy makes money from ads (and I doubt a site like this makes very much), then good for him. He designed something that some people seem to enjoy, and offers it for free, so what's wrong with putting up a few ads? Oh noez, making a profit (if he is) is evil!

Calling it 'supremely stupid' is dissing the 'players' (such as they are), not the owners. If it makes money, then it's hardly stupid of the owner.

Some people would consider Igiss 'supremely stupid' for putting so much effort into a mod for an ancient computer game and not even getting anything out of it.
