It is with a heavy heart that I lay this faction concept to rest. Last week I would have never thought I'd ever arrive at such a conclusion, but I'm gonna be honest. Some of you might know about the AP Manufacturing faction concept I posted recently? It's given me a large case of the blues and has just left me feeling dissapointed.

You might say that up until know I was fairly confident in the integrity of the Core concept, however now I just feel that not pursuing the original faction concept nor putting up a fight to keep it the way I originally envisioned story wise was a mistake. I should have never of adjusted course.

My members are
gonna me fuming with me. But just let it be. You have to deal with my conclusion here. But does everything I've done go down the drain? On one hand I want to purge all the lore and retcon everything to start afresh as I could never imagine the assets in someone else's hands. But if I'm gonna do one thing then at least a newcomer can remake the faction in their own eyes. Make what you will of this.

Core can
make you cry, Core can make you happy and Core can make you angry. In JM I had dealt with an array of emotions like that but I had never dealt with something like Operation Spear. I'm gonna be frank: that was a muck up, from all parties involved, but the damage had been done. What more is there to say really? To tell you the truth I was prepared to say goodbye to the faction in that moment, due to the scale of drama that resulted. But I made a promise to my members that I would never be a quitter. "I'm gonna keep going!" I proclaimed to my subordinates. Pray tell, that was simply a lie in the end. And all it did was hurt our motivation more than it helped. But actually, I blame YOU the community member for not doing enough to support a faction that contributes loads to the server and is still spited regardless.

And with no ETA on when I can play again, I really don't know if I can keep things up with Core. The big FSR is irrelevant, the developments I was planning can halt unless someone else wants to pick them up. But it certainly won't be Core|.

you've been meme'd my the meme master extraordinaire himself. nothing personnel kids. pssssh

how unexpected right? Come on, be real, when a lot of you first saw the thread title in your threads list you believed it at least for a second Big Grin

Kudos to the people who believed it though. It was really touching to see all those replies and people motivating me to keep going and to not give up the faction. And kudos to the staff for playing along. Happy April Fools everyone.

Although no one saw the secret message in the OP before 12 GMT+1 (or UK time), which makes me dissapointed. I was going to reward the super sleuth Sad

And can I have my blue name back and can my sub-forum be undisbanded pls c:

You think I'm joking. The date is mere coincidence. I'm tired of all the shit I have to keep putting up with, and I just don't have faith in the concept anymore.

Take a break. You'll realise how dumb the others are. Seriously, if anything that kills things in this community, it's the circlejerking. See those two above? That's pretty much insulting. No respect. No etiquette.

Take some time and rethink it through man. It's just all tooo sudden and probably due to some accumulating furstration that needs venting. Don't give up like this come on. Just take some time and see it as a regenerative period.

Well, actually I thought you are just joking...
Just take a break from disco, like a week. Think about what you created and so on, and think about the member who are standing behind you.
