Sender: Milton Birch, Wisp Innovations
Recipient: Rheinland Government, Rheinland Federal Police
Subject: Permission to carry specific cargo.

To whom it may concern,

My name is Milton Birch and I'm the head of the Logistics Division of Wisp Innovations, a subsidiary of Cryer Pharmaceuticals. We are a corporation based in the Sigma-17 system, however despite not being affiliated with the Republic of Liberty we still encountered some prejudice from Rheinland corporations despite the signed peace treaty. However that's not the matter I would like to discuss.

With the peace treaty being signed we are looking to expand our business in Rheinland. As such, we would like to ask for a permit on carrying the following commodities in Rheinland space:

• Niobium Ore
• Synth Paste

The reason for carrying Niobium Ore is rather simple. Some time ago we entered a partnership with the Independent Miners Guild, who mine Niobium in the Taus. We see it as a good opportunity to help Rheinland recover its economy, especially that there seems to be a rather large demand for Niobium there now. Synth Paste is a product we're importing from Planet New Berlin to supply our station in the Sigmas.

I hope that you review our application positively.

Yours faithfully,
Milton Fitzgerald Birch

PRIORITY: High
ENCRYPTION: High
IDENTIFICATION: Laura Caspers, Staatssekretärin of the Bundeskabinett Sekretariat
SOURCE: Bundeskanzleramt, Planet New Berlin
SUBJECT: Re: Permission to carry specific cargo

Guten Tag, Sehr geehrter Herr Birch. My name is Laura Caspers and I reply to your message on behalf of the Rheinland government.

As you yourself pointed out, the peace treaty between the Bundesrepublik Rheinland and the Republic of Liberty is already signed. Issue of trade restrictions and embargoes, which were set by both sides during war, is adressed by the treaty and both sides are obligated to remove them. This includes all restrictions for trading legal commodities by Cryer Pharmaceuticals and all its subsidiaries or affiliates in Rheinland space, which will be completely lifted soon. Once it will happen, I´m sure there will be public announcement about it.

Mit Freundlichen Grüßen,

Laura Caspers
