You never noticed the tractor beam that scoops all the items in space when you press the B button?

Unfortunately, that is the extent of the evidence of any beaming/tractoring technology in the game, as far as I'm aware.

Tractoring is one thing, beaming an other thing. The tractor beam puts things from space to your ship, ressources as well as escape pods. But can you use the tractor beam to bring a living entity from one ship to another? I mean, without the need of an escape pod. It's one thing to instantly suck an object into your ship, but another thing to beam a human from one ship to another ship without the tractor beam. The question is, is it beaming or tractoring?

theres no "beaming" technology so far, its only done by "transfer", you can not click on a ship and automatically "send" it cargo, it is done by an agreement via ship transfer between both ships
