Am I correct in thinking that, since the Phantoms were retconned out of existence, that the only non human entities now inhabiting sirius are the Nomads and the AIs?
And no! I don't count furries, so don't mention them.
Species in Sirius/Gallic Sector(s), to my understandment
- Humans
- Maltese Humans
- Human-made AI
- Kappa AI
- Infectees (not really a new race)
- Hybrids (the Oracle roleplay)
- Nomads (aka Love K'hara)

You see a debris field five kilometers in front of you. You don't remember that there was one before and decided to investigate it. There is a lonely Corvo, not doing anything there, right above the front section of a corsair battleship. You try to open a communication channel to the Corvo. A cow shows up. Literally. There's a cow captaining the ship. The cow farts.
The ships interior has no CO² filtering. The cow dies.
You did as well. And all your friends. Jason killed them.
Also, some factions have super-humans. Genetical enhanced one. The Core even clones.
A second cow appears. It looks like the first one, just not dead. You decided to rot away, since your already dead.
I still stand by saying that 800+ years in the future we would have improved our current cloning technologies dramatically. I mean right now it's entirely possible to clone a human person (SCNT, Theraputic Cloning etc), it's just internationally banned because of all the ethical dilemas it would create (although some countries permit the cloning of human embryos, but only for medical basis and nothing past that).
So a clone 'army' ? It's not impossible per se.
I wouldn't call The Core's augumentated humans another race though or non-human. As Nietzsche would put it, they are ubermensch (nerd)
