Bonjour to whoever may receive this!
My name is Ian Winkler, I'm the director of ALG Waste Disposal's newest space-faring division, the Tour Division, and the captain of the first Tour ship, the Fortschritt.
We've not had the pleasure of any official communication with your company, though our pilots have occasionally flown alongside yours in convoy, particularly from the Taus.

Anyway, what brings me to write this transmission now is the recent dramatic increase in demand for passenger transport, which is what caused us to invest in the Tour division in the first place, a dramatic departure from our normal industrial focus.
What I'm writing about in particular is this: We are aware, of course, of the breaking up of Solar Engineering, the main branch of which being taken over by EFL Oil & Machinery, and the subsidiary Bouvet Space Entertainment being taken over by IDF.
We've had extensive contacts with EFL including a major technology exchange program, but all our old contacts with them have dried up.
Since Île-de-France now operates the luxury passenger service formerly owned by Solar, we are interested in purchasing a Lucullus-class liner as the second vessel operated by our own, new passenger division, and are hoping we can reach a deal with you to arrange such a sale.

If this is possible for you, we'll be happy to work out more details.

Merci for your time, Ian Winkler

Bonjour, Monsieur Winkler,
it is indeed a long time since we have flown in convoy, this is mainly due to a restructuring of our corporate activities with most of our supply chains intra-house at present.

In principle we have no problem with your request but as you may realise the monarchy and its many departments deal with this sort of transaction with non-Gallic entities.

You will need to contact the Kingdom to obtain permission for Gallic Technology usage via the Gallic Permits Office. Of course once secured we will be pleased to facilitate the commissioning and transfer of ownership.

Regardez
Michel

Mr Fournie;

Thank you for your very quick reply. It's news to me that corporate ship sales require approval from the Permits Office. We will of course be applying immediately.
I hope we can resume and conclude this business to both our satisfaction when official approval is granted.

Merci for your time, Ian Winkler

M. Fornie;

Unfortunately, the Crown appears to be rather unenthusiastic about greenlighting this sale.
I really don't want to drop the idea yet though. There's a lot of money to be made for us and for you, so if you're still interested in principle, maybe there is some way for you to use your leverage as one of the most important companies in the Kingdom to convince the crown of the benefits of this sale?
We have a lot to offer to sweeten the deal, in terms of money, materials or technology. Or perhaps something else entirely, I'm open to suggestions. I do firmly believe that this deal would greatly benefit both parties.

Merci for your time.
