Hi there, I'm currently looking up some information for an idea I'm having with Orbital Spa and Cruise, however a key point hinges on if Nuremberg is going to be uninhabitable soon. I don't remember where, and for the life of me I can't find the thread again, but I remember seeing some comm from RFP to DHC about evacuating the people.

Is Nuremberg going away? (and by extension the rest of Munich?)
And is it public knowledge? (like how Gallia evacuated that one system (Maine?))

Hi, I don´t know exact plans of storydevs, but generally:
Nuremberg is being evacuated because it is endangered by closing dark matter cloud. If it will kill the planet entirely or not is not known at this moment (and maybe even not finally decided ooRPly).
And no, it can´t be considered as public knowledge yet. As far as I know, that info is known only to VWA (thus they are actively involved in the evacuation), and to the government (the thread you saw is RP starter which got stuck on implementing special refugees commodity). Of course there may be some minor leaks of pieces of information here or there, but it is not public knowledge yet. It would cause panic of enourmous scale after all, because 300 million people would try to get from the planet and relocate elsewhere where capacities are not ready for such mass of people.
