Sorry for ducking out on you like that earlier in game Dimon.

The sound problems I was having was related to setting on my PC, not a game setting.

Seems I had my sound card set for '5.1', when it should have been set for 'Stereo' instead. Confused

Due to that fact things that *should* have been making sound weren't due to lack of speakers that 5.1 would have used for them.

For others reading this, remember to check the settings on your sound card, the wrong settings there *WILL* make a major difference to the sound in game!

*thinks about getting a 5.1 capable speaker system.....
