Another thing that we should consider changing, if possible.
The default user keymap is one of the vanila files not changed by the mod installer. This is rather problematic, since it not only leaves out many of the additions from Disco such as turret steering controls - which is understandable as they vary depending on keyboard layouts and personal preferences, but at the same time it also leaves out simple things such as weapon groups - the default keys are bound as Fire Weapon X, and even more simple things such as vertical strafe.
Now, I am not really sure how this file is generated in the first place - does the game install actually adapts it to your own system specifics or does it use keys that are found on any keyboard. If we could give players a modified user keymap, it should make their lives easier.
Turret steering controls aside, at least vertical strafe and weapon group controls should be changed to fit the Discovery Freelancer gameplay.
