Wisp Innovations is a biomedical corporation which specialises in nanotechnology and microbiology research. Founded in 819 A.S. by J. Anthony Wisp, it had soon become a successful research potentate. In 822 A.S., after Wisp retired from the position of CEO, it was purchased by Cryer Pharmaceuticals, which provided location and funding for the research project as well as a sum of money to fund a transport fleet - what would later become the Logistics Division.

Currently Wisp Innovations is a powerful, horizontally-sprawling company, which owns or operates a large number of businesses across varying fields, sometimes exceeding medicine. It is administrated by a shadowy group of people known as The Board. The main body of the company is divided into two Divisions.

The Main Division is tasked with various planet- and station-side matters, ranging from research and development through pharmaceutical manufacturing to medical service. Most of the employees working for the Main live aboard Atka Research Station. The Main Division also holds offices in Denver Research Institute in Colorado as well on Cambridge Research Station.

Because of the long-lasting political neutrality of the company, no House is particularly eager to fund their research with the concern that it would sooner or later fall into the hands of their enemies. As such, Wisp Innovations had to develop its own financing model which was successfully accomplished with the creation of the Logistics Division. Logistics Division comprises of a fleet of various types of transports and escort ships which distribute Cryer products across Sirius and delivers necessary supplies to Cryer stations.

The main corporate purpose of Wisp is to provide humanity with means to transcend their physical and psychological limitations whilst maintaining the connection to what makes it unique and healthy - without leaving anything behind. They consider all connections to Cardamine possibly fatal to the survival of humans and goes to great lengths to combat and remove the orange threat by any means necessary.

Kellis Biotech was founded in 821 A.S. as a sole proprietorship by James "Jimmy" Kellis on Planet Cambridge. He designed prototypes of various medical machinery and hospital equipment which were later sold to subcontractors for manufacturing. The company prospered well and soon Kellis faced the proposition of investment from Wisp Innovations. The business growed, employing more people and now it has become a medium-size daughter company of Wisp that deals with production of top-quality medical equipment, including the well-known Cryer Med-Stasis Bands. Currently Kellis Biotech is headquartered on Cambridge Research Station, owning a couple of factories planet-side.

Originally known as Sirius News Consortium, SYNC has quickly become an important player in the media industry of Liberty and later the entire Sirius. Originally consisting of several companies, the conglomerate now is a unified corporation providing services in marketing and public relations for various Sirian corporations. Currently SYNC administrated by an experienced ex-journalist and businessman Ibrahim Salem, however Wisp Innovations still owns a large portion of SYNC's shares. Under his administration, the company has begun expanding into the field of planetside and Neural Net surveillance, providing high quality consumer profile services to anyone ready to pay for them.

While originally striving for ethical and truthful coverage, very soon SYNC began to shift its values towards quick and large profit. Now it provides opinion-forming, biased reports for any party that pays enough. Some worry that SYNC uses its infrastructure for more nefarious purposes than just advertising.
