Hello, uhm, Noah,

I realize I said that I'd do this, like, what? — ten days ago? I'm sorry for keeping this off for so long, as I'm sure you have your own stuff to attend to that may or may not kill you, judging by the way you acted when last we met by the Freeport. Regardless of what happened between us, I bear no enmity towards you, and I hope that feeling is mutual.

I would like to acquaint you to those I call friends. Now, I realize that you might not have time to stay for an entire dinner, but it would be nice if we could at least meet and chit-chat a bit, all of us, as if this entire debacle had never happened. That would make me quite happy. We're staying in Omega-49 for the time being — maybe we could meet in two days?

given the recent incident, I've forcibly been appointed captain of the Phoenix. Noah Xonnel's condition at the moment is... well, he's... not among us anymore, I'm afraid. Thus I only saw it as fair to you to reply in his stead.

I'm sorry this couldn't be done under different circumstances. We're still mourning his loss, as it came as somewhat of a surprise. He was a friend to me and the rest of the crew and unique in his ways of thinking.

You said you're a friend of him, thus I extend my apologies for having to bring you these news. Our doors are open, if you wish to visit for his sake... it's all I can offer at this point. I hope you understand.
