I just bought spore (haven't installed, not at home) and I'm wondering if you can run it on say.... a VIA 32 mb video card? That's intergrated I'm mighty sure, wondering if it will work, I meet all other req but that one.

I'd say probably not. Try downloading the free creature creator and running around in the walking mode. If it doesn't load, it is a big no instead of a little one.

What does spore usually require?

Besides an Internet connection...

Processor:2.0 GHz P4 processor or equivalent
RAM XP: 512 MB
RAM Vista: 768 MB
Graphics card: 128 MB with support for Pixel Shader 2.0
At least 6 GB Hard disk drive space

That's the official statement. I'd say you might be able to pull off going one generation below anything there, but only in one thing and you'd need the other things to be superior to counter it.
