Well pulse actually works like sniper weapon but its for primary slot, and if you mount some pulse weapon you lose main DPS

I made this for Heavy Slot, it is like Mortar but anti-shield so battleships can mount anti-shield weapon without losing main weapon DPS

Here is the video I call it Ion Blast Cannon but it can be change to Shock Cannon or somethin else.

well @Thunderer and i was thinkin about its stats so here it is;

Suggested Stats for Ionblast Cannon

Hull Damage Per Shot: 52000
Shield Damage Per Shot: 426000
Range: 4400m
Projectile Speed: 800 m/s
Refire Rate: 0.10
Energy Usage: 2500000

So it does 52k damage to hull, yes. Because it should insta kill a snub if it hits, it will melt down small crafts.
Actually Snubs that have more than 22.000 HP will survive from Ionblast
Battleships actually have 425.000 Shield and 426.000 Shield damage is enough to deshield any battleship with one shot

It has same range,speed and energy usage with Heavy Mortar

Overall Capital Weapons Anti-Shield Efficiency and Ionblast

Cerberus Turret: 0.2 Anti-Shield Efficiency
Pulse: 0.18 Anti Shield Efficiency
Ionblast Cannon: 0.17 Anti-Shield Efficiency
Primary Turrets: 0.13 to 0.14 Anti-Shield Efficiency
Mortar: 0.12 Anti-Shield Efficiency
Heavy Mortar: 0.10 Anti-Shield Efficiency

Cerberus still most powerfull weapon in the game but only at close range.

It reminds me of a unit's projectile effect in Supreme Commander. Maybe the Obsidian heavy tank, I think that's how it was called. The effect is neat.

Yes. Most heavy battleships can't take down their light/medium counterparts, and this could solve the problem.

It would make the Valor even more OP though, and it is already the best battleship in the game. It would balance it out if battleship forward guns were turned into this as well.

I think the gun shot itself looks cool, but the cloudy explosion could take some more attention, if you ask me. Something like the cloak disruptor.

Actually that impact effect is bigger version of current battleship pulse impact effect and it is actually bretonian battleship explosion effect, it fits though but maybe I can create new effect for it

I think this will make cruisers even more vulnerable. Mount one of this cannons and two HM and insta all the cruisers. Unless it takes more energy per shield damage than a HM, wich would make it obsolete to kill BS's.

You can't insta cruisers that have more than 265.000 HP+CAU8
You can't insta CAU8 cruiser with 2 Heavy mortar, only 3 Heavy mortar can insta kill any cruiser but first, you need medium or heavy battleship to do it.
Medium battleship have to deshield a cruiser before firing 3 heavy mortar and it can't fire 3 Heavy mortar if you have less than 7.5M powercore and Medium BS powercore is 8M
Firing 4 Pulse to Cruiser also can't deshield it you have to fire another salvo of Pulse to deshield, Im sure you will have less than 7.5M powercore and you can't fire 3 Heavy Mortar.

Heavy Battleships have more chance to instakill a Cruiser with 3 Heavy Mortar but yea you need to deshield it

Ion Blast Cannon must have same energy requirement with Heavy Mortar to fire it
Everything will be same except Ion Blast Cannon will deshield anything with one shot.
