Ever moved a bigger ship through the big green cloud in Omicron Gamma? It sucks. You can't get a Legate or a Nephilim, and hardly even other battleship classes, small ones like Murmillo. Now that the alternate route to Omicron Delta is gone, it's the only way. Entering Xi is hard enough, but the jump hole to Kappa is that deep in the cloud, you are simply forced to /stuck your ship through.
The most other systems, like even Kappa, have a passage leading from the jump hole to the next hole. A passage from the Omicron Kappa Jump Hole in direction to Crete would make the passage way more capital-ship friendly, so more Legates could actually enter Kappa and Delta without the neccessity of doing the way too long other route.
And considering they have Tripoli shipyard in the system making these large capital ships, unless they want to just fill up Gamma with ships that can't leave, to have someway for them easily fly in/out. So yeah a passage would be great help, though directed towards Crete might be a bit awkward? Maybe towards skiros station (?) Or the nearest edge of the asteroid field would be easier
Yes, make the passage small enough so that a legate can barely fit, meaning flying in a straight line will be absolutely mandatory.
Or give us that omega 41 -> theta connection back, and connect theta to kappa.

i took my neph from alpha to hudson through gamma, if i can do that with my level of patience then i think most of the people on disco can - providing they have more patience than me of course
I don't know about you guys, but legates can move through them. They're flat as a pancake. Just like a Liberty Dreadnought could move through the Badlands in New York. Sure, it's slow and bumpy as all hell, and I would NEVER fight in it (because the roids block many shots, so gunboats can run circles around you), but manual-steer and cockpit-view does help out a lot.
Hell, I take my Pilgrim Liner through the Malvada Cloud almost every time. I even use the maneuvering through the clouds as a distraction that is long-distance cruising.
