Hey guys,

On my break from disco I noticed a pretty cool looking game on steam called Sirius Online, I wonder if any of you manged to play it as doesn't seem to be a download button.

This is the description on steam

Sirius Online is a space-based action-exploration MMO inspired by Freelancer and the vast beauty of EVE Online. You choose your own destiny, from being a miner and control the mineral supply, over Exploring and finding the deepest hidden riches of the universe, trading and support the industry

To me looking at the videos and screen shots, it look pretty cool.

If you re-released Freelancer as is today with 2016 era graphics it would also get mixed reviews, but that's still what everyone here is waiting for.

Not everyone wants super duper graphics, optimisation and diverse support is always great. Having an easier game to run would allow more people in anyway.

Right, but that's not the point I was trying to make. Everyone here seems to want a clone of Freelancer, just redone with modern technology, and what I'm saying is that if that exact thing were released today reviews would most definitely be mixed because FL is not the 2016 gamer's cup of tea.

Graphics aren't such an issue but the reviews seem to state that there are many bugs in the game in it's current state. I've fallen foul of Early Access games innumerable times and as such tend to give them a wide berth these days. That's not to say it won't be good upon release.

At least they didn't directly lie to their audience. Ahem looking at you No Man's Lie.
