the other night i heard some corsairs swearing... they were "in-RP" with their insults so i couldn't persuade them to stop. (but my fraps was off so i didn't get a screenie:unsure:)


so i have a message for them:

ALL the more reason to further protect them (these are not my children mind you...)

See how dangerous it is today to let children play on discovery? not only do they fall victims to insults and brain trash, but are also endangered physically.

Are kids really that vulnerable?
I've been exposed to all kind of trash talk throughout my youth, but you don't see me swearing often (sometime with my friends, but never in an insulting manner, always more as an expression...)

On a more serious note, however, it's also often our younger companions on this server who are very prone to insulting, as they often do not possess the self-restraint that our older members do.

Reminds me of yesterday at the library where I work. There was a three year old kid who was sitting on his mom's lap at one of the computer stations. Every so often, he'd start yelling "sh**"...

His mom's ruddy cheeks were not from health.

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
