A perky blond appears on the screen with an ear-piece. She begins speaking:
"In a stunning and daring move, unknown criminal elements (though the Rogues are heavily suspected due to the recent LPI crackdown and subsequent busts) bombed a restaurant that LPI Chief Roger Williams was a known regular of. After several attempts to get him out of retirement, old Chief Matt Myers has grudgingly agreed to take up the mantle once again. In a recent press release (very recent, as he gave it while still on Curacao, hastily packing), he said that it would be an honor to take up his old position. That is all we have for now."
// All of you that foresaw it, it's happened. Chris gave up. So, failing anyone else to take the LPI, I have it. Pretty soon, the LPI itself may cease to exist as a player faction, but I'm not ready to give up just yet
