-----SPOILER ALERT-----
JUST SAYING, THE CROSSFIRE STORY IS BEST EXPERIENCED BLIND. IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THIS MOD BEFORE, I SUGGEST YOU TURN BACK NOW.

So, I've beaten the Crossfire story twice, and have gotten only one ending. I heard there's supposed to be multiple endings, but all I got was the usual "rip orillion, flies into black hole" thing.

Have any of you guys had some alternative ending? Was always wondering. Tell me what your experience was like! (Except if it involves spoiling the ending, I wanna keep that blind!)

FL scripting doesn't allow for alternate endings.

Well, this is Crossfire. Perhaps SWAT found a way.

That surprises me actually. But then again, this is a massively old game.

Yeah, I just confirmed it. Swat OPer just said the "alternate ending" didn't make it into the final release. Such a shame! But hey, the ending for the game is pretty good.

This game was an absolute pile of garbage... seriously...

The content looks like it was thrown together in such a short span of time, with little no effort put into it.

Its buggy as hell, constantly crashing and carrying over npc's from previous missions (so you basically have a fleet of npc's constantly follow you)

It was just... DEFINATELY not what everyone hyped it up to be, seriously a half assed mod.

I agree there. The 1.9 was a big success, but 2.0 seemed to barely deliver what was promised. They promised choices that matter to the story, alternate endings, 20 or so new missions, and lots of new systems. But all we got was some extra story and a few new systems and weapons/ships. The Crossfire campaign is EXTREMELY fun (except maybe a few parts), but the finale wasn't everything it was hyped to be. But I still really love the mod, it definitely had lots of effort put into it, even if it wasn't given 100%. As for the crashing, that's probably just a "you" situation. I hardly ever crash on this mod, even with a god awful computer. Might just be hardware, who knows.
