Good Day,

My name is Brandon Wright, I'm a member of the Ingenuus Research Group. I wanted to contact the Guild to request permission for the IRG|Aurora.Apeliotes, a modified jump capable civilian carrier, to use Gas Miner Ogashawa as a refueling point for her jump operations within the Sigmas and Omicrons. This of course would require the deployment of our hyperspace survey vessel the IRG|Aurora.Borealis within Guild Space. In exchange for permission to operate within your territory and use of the refueling point, Ingenuus would share the hyperspace survey information with the Guild.

Mr Wright,

Guild law 3.4 dictates that the ownership and operation of jump drives and survey modules is not permitted without authorisation.

Authorisation may be granted in some circumstances to trusted ships.

Unfortunately, The Guild knows very little about yourself the Ingenuus Research Group. Perhaps you might share some information regarding your organisation and its goals, including specific reasoning as to why it is necessary you operate this special equipment in the Sigma systems, in order for each of our groups to gain a greater understanding of the other.

Cordially,

Keiji Namura

Mr. Namura,

The Ingenuus Reserach Group in short answers questions. Our goal is to put an answer on the blank spots of the universe. While that is a broad goal to reach each of us focuses on a small aspect of it. My research revolves around Baxter Objects and their connections via hyperspace, Baxter Objects are kind of like a wormhole, kind of, it's difficult to explain in its entirety, and I've been studying them for years at this point. The main reason the Apeliotes needs to operate within Sigma 19 is due to range safety limitations of her jump drive array. We operate almost exclusively within the edge, however there are occasions where the Apeliotes needs to return to our facilities on Ames Research Station. Sigma 19, more or less, is about half way between our zone of operations and Kepler making it a convenient refueling location.
