Guten abend, Frau Riehl.

Please accept my apologies for having dropped you and your team on Freeport 2 without a word, and still locked in your drop pods for that matter too. I did my best to make sure said drop pods would be delivered to people belonging to your movement. I'm certain you understand my prudence. After all, it is doubtful we can call each other friends.

That said, It is rather unfortunate we couldn't conclude our discussion. I believe there is great opportunities to be seized for both your movement and the agency I have to been assign to.
Thus, I am formally asking you if there is some chance we could finish this discussion, hopefully without Rheinland Military getting in the way. I will be fine with discussing either with you or whoever your organization judges to be best fitted for this task.

Thank you for your time, and auf wiedersehen.

Hi.

I owe you for saving your life. That’s how this works, right? You save my life, I’m grateful, you get to finger me for five minutes.

You’re an intelligence agent, Ward. I know what you do.

Yeah, I took a while to get back. Normal circumstances we wouldn’t even be dialoguing. It takes a while to get a wanted criminal off a Zoner installation without a bounty hunter snagging the neural net tags. I’ve had enough with uniformed punks.

Yet here I am talking to a uniformed punk who saved my life - and, what matters more to me, the lives of my colleagues.

So let’s talk. We both do the wetwork for our nation states - we both have our own views on how to do that - pliers and poison, suits and shotguns. I’m a terrorist and you’re an intelligence operative. Same Scheisse, different paygrade. You get to walk free with a new face, I get to walk into a jail cell. The end of the line for you is retirement and champagne. My discharge is a gunshot.

So. Tell me what you want from the Union. What do you want from me? Why do you want it from me?

Make this good. If I go back to my highers up telling them I’ve been in communication with an LSF agent without advancing the cause, I’m so much meat. You should have left me to die in that pod.

Tell me what what you want, why, what you’re selling in return. In that order.

Then I’ll see what I can do for you.

Guten tag, Frau Riehl,

Please accept my apologies for the delay of this response. That said, I am pleased to hear your men could safely return home.
While I can understand your bitterness following that rather unfortunate event occurring in New Berlin system, I'm confident you would agree keeping an appeased mind is the best way to stay alive.

I perfectly understand your reservations regarding this interaction, Ms. Riehl. It's indeed correct House Rheinland and House Liberty have been at war, and that the Unioners movement, being composed of dedicated patriots, did their best to protect House Rheinland from its enemies, Liberty Security Forces included.
However, the situation changed with the peace treaty between the two Houses, and I personally do not consider you to be an enemy. I hope you will be kind enough to concede a reciprocity in that acknowledgement.

As for your inquiry, I would rather not elaborate further on a medium as unstable as NeuralNet, and it is my conviction a meeting would be the best way to give us a chance to expose what the Unioners movement could gain from a cooperation with the agency.

In order to make you feel the most comfortable possible about this meeting, I will let you choose where it should take place, if you are willing to attend.
I can only advise to choose a lonely facility, such as an isolated Freeport, for example. You may bring with you as many friends as you wish. As for me, another agent may come to participate to our discussions, if you allow it.

I bid you a good day, Ms. Riehl.

Frau Riehl,

I'm afraid unforeseen complications have caused significant setbacks in our preplanned schedule, which resulted in such an unacceptable delay. I can only hope our agreement wasn't jeopardized by such a waiting period and that you are still willing to proceed with that meeting in Bering system.

Granted you are still willing to proceed, I'd have one request, that said : allow me to introduce you to both Ms. Kerensky Sonja and Mr. Reeves Avery. In the event you would feel threatened by such a gathering, we would be more than happy to let you bring more friends of yours, so that your safety can be guaranteed.

As for the time of such a meeting, we are convinced next Saturday or Sunday would be ideal to proceed with that encounter.

I'm confident this gathering will be quite an interesting event providing our both organizations with valuable concessions.
Thank you for your time, Frau Riehl, and for your understanding.
