Hey, peeps.

I am glad that most of the events and related things are getting positive feedback so far. However, for all the praise you gave me, I should also remind you that this is all possible for a whole palette of other peeps who have provided us with all of the toys needed for it. So with that in mind, here's the current items you should keep an eye out for.

Event System blanks added by @Xalrok
Unlike the decommissioned systems, these ones are completely clean of any other solars and have no JH connection to the rest of Sirius. They are blank canvases for events, which allows me to spawn in solars and items and npcs as needed. These will be used in the upcoming GRN event that will be posted a bit later as well as the future ''Dungeon'' systems. There are currently 7 systems, each with their own corresponding starsphere.

Event NPC Loadouts added by @Xalrok
PVE events are fun because they need a very small amount of people to start - you literally need only one side of participants. The old npcs were just high-level mission NPCs and their biggest flaw was that you'd need to spawn huge amounts to make it challenging. Not only that, if you wanted to spawn less but more powerful npcs (caps), you were risking to alianate anyone who did not bring a cap or bomber. The Mk1 version of these npcs used stack-mounted guns, which resulted in some server lag. The Mk2 variants now use custom-statt'd NPC weapons to deal the same amount of damage via less projectiles. In order not to make these NPC snubs not instakill, their guns have reasonably high damage, but also are zapper-like to increase damage via hit-ratio. Caps have regular guns.

Their AI behavior was also modified so that they mostly ignore Solars and other NPCs while there are real players around.

These event NPCs also carry more credit cards, allowing the people attending the event to make money off of them. @Xoria has also given a chance to provide a nomad-themed clone for the credit cards for immersion purposes.

Right now Nomads are getting all of the love until the finalised version of these loadouts are made - after that, any other NPCs can get the same one and make these PVE events much much varid in the future.

Event Jumphole Drift Fix by @Alley
The original setting for the event jumpholes was to place people at different locations at an increment of 200m so that players that take the hole at once do not end stacking on top one another. Something went wrong along the way and ended up the jumhole move the exit by 200m every time someone used it. This was fixed and should not be an issue anymore.

Jumphole Generator parts modified
The first Jumphole Generator event was enough of a success to make it worth using more often. For this, the Jumphole Generator is now split into Parts and you must get 10 of them in order to construct and activate one. The parts are spawned on some NPCs during mini-events, found in some locations in the game on abandoned bases (POBs) which do not show up in the list. They have also been given a certain line that allows any player to be treated as a combat target while carrying it by non-generic IDs. This should fix the issue where the device, regardless of its dangerous nature, cannot be treated as contraband due to outdated (not yet updated) laws. More information about the device and the mini-event it spawns itself will be posted later.

Cargo Licenses added for BPA, RFP and LPI IDs.
Some love for those police factions. You will find these items sold on your respective capital planets and these can only be bought by your official ID. The usage of these items is rather straightforward.

Other event related items are currently being discussed and may be added soon.
Have fun and enjoy.

PSA: If you have been having stutter/FPS lag on Disco where it does not run as smoothly as other games, please look at the fix here: https://discoverygc.com/forums/showthrea...pid2306502
