1. What's a reasonable range for long-range communication?
2. Do you think it's okay people RP-PM you while you are not seen by them (never got seen by them/you're cloaked/you're in a distant system)?
3. Does GMG sell their tech to civilians by ingame-default, with inRP-permission or rather not? (Just saw a guy at Manhattan with a GMG gunship who claimed GMG never cared about him)
4. Is the Kusari Explorer open to civilians in RP or is it Kusari tech you need to get permission for?
5. Is the Rheinland Pirate Cruiser open to anyone in RP or is it Rheinland unlawful (or whatever faction?) tech you need to get permission for?
6. Is there an explanation on the anomaly that is shown as the background of Omicron Kappa?
7. Is there an explanation on the anomaly that is shown as the background of Omicron Psi/99?
8. What is love?

I can answer some of these for you~

1: Several systems, I think most people consister from one house to another to be long range while somes are from deep space, it all depends on what you consister yourself as long range

4: Its civilian teck and is open for everyone to use as its been for a few years. If you want, you could RP for it, but all in all, its civi tech

5: Depends, its open in the matter of speaking as a Togo would be. Its restricted ooRP to those that can fly it with the ID, but inRP, the wrecks are found, recovered and repaired, or sometimes rebuilt, kinda like the Dragons battleship

7: I asked King Boo about this in the past, its mostly just the background from the old Freelancer Unknown 2 system, there's nothing much else to it, despite it looking like there's a lot more to it

1. Depends if you mean ingame or on forums, eg. if you mean real-time online communication or through prerecorded messages. But I don´t think that anyone actually cares about this much since these technical issues are not actually scientifically and technically explained in detail in Disco universe.
2. Better don´t do that, it usually gives feeling of hard metagaming.
3. Depends what ship I guess. I am quite sure they don´t mind non GMG people using Kujira (except by their enemies of course), but they are quite protective when it comes to their snubs or gunship as far as I know.
4. Open to all.
5. Open to Rheinland unlawfuls only I guess, there would need to be roleplay justificating how someone else obtained it.

Another question: What happened to Freeport 3?

I don´t think it is explained or even mentioned anywhere. Read this thread or this one where same/similar question was asked.
