One question: Do the admins agree and approve of this? As far as I know there is a rule that prevents players dictating RP to other players... That might get people in trouble needlessly.
i am trying to imagine what happen when BigFatty in the council.....lmao..

While I don't have any Order characters, these guidelines seem reasonable and fitting to the Order RP... However, it completely contradicts the stated rule against dictating RP to independents.

I don't want to dictate role play ENTIRELY.
However, what I would l like to see is structured role play that better states WHY are we attacking Liberty. and for what reason.
needless runs into liberty just for "sh*ts and giggles" is hardly in-role play, even if you're just a pirate who likes to shoot people. Order isn't actively at war with Liberty Navy or even with the Bounty Hunters. We simply defend ourselves.
I know RP has progressed ALOT in the last 2 years i've been out of Discovery, but I have been keeping up by reading forums, even Bs| members have been cross posting their own role play from this forum to the Bs| Clan forum.
so please don't say I've been out of the loop without actually asking me anything.

The only 'problem' that I see (and whether or not it's a problem depends on who you ask) is that while the Order may be a military organization, with a military command structure and such, so are all the House militaries, as well as some pirate organizations. If the Order is allowed to dictate anything to independents as far as unwritten RP goes, what's to keep other factions from doing the same? This completely undermines the stated rule which gives independent characters the right to do anything that the canon faction and their ID allows them If this is approved, why does the rule exist in the first place?

I'm trying to curb the OORP bullcrap, like Order going to NY in capitals for no real reason.
Outside of that, that's the only thing i'm trying to control, and nothing more.
Guys, this is not a "Blanket" order that is going to tell everyone to "follow my orders or die."...
Certain rules i expect to bide by.. Nothing more. Order shouldn't even be IN New York, PERIOD, as it's extremely out of role play, PERIOD.

Well, yeah, I completely agree. But it is a blanket order of 'follow the Council's orders or die'. The figurehead council which includes three Bs votes and two indie votes, indies who are presumably chosen by the Bs. You may only be enforcing the Order RP (as you see it), but these rules give you the authority to enforce anything.
Whether or not it is ooRP for the Order to attack the LN/LSF in NY is debatable. While I think it's pretty stupid, it's never been sanctioned as ooRP in the past, and there are examples of it in SP (though those might be considered special RP circumstances).
The admins first say you cannot dictate RP to indies, and now they are behind you on forbidding indies to initiate attacks on someone hostile on their infocard?
This looks promising. Want to elaborate, admins? (Not Wolfpack, I know what you are going for here, and I want to hear admin word.)
Edit: Also, Tenacity is more pro-Bs than most Bs members, so I fail to see a well thought-out council here.
The indies chosen were the 2 most rp'ing and forum active Order indies we could find. I think we can all agree on that. And a dedicated Order member would atleast put an effort into getting a bio out or a story for his/her ships and characters.
And that this is an official statement, not just something that Bs| says like we did before (to some point) we should be able to get cooperation considering Bs| is pretty close knit with indies already.
