Novas are energy too (but very different than the the super counterpart), you can find those all over the place.

Like Tenacity said, Kappa. Arranmore in Dublin if you're cool docking there, as well.

The only energy based torps you'll really use are supernovas or novas, though i highly recommend the supernova. They are sold at multiple locations, but an easy place to get one without having to be on a good side of a faction is Planet Gammu(I think or the other planet there) in Omicron Kappa.

Maquis|Leon.LaBreau-If your interested in joining the Maquis PM me.

Just 'coz he's active on the forums, dosn't mean he's active on the server. I sent ages playing open SP to learn about the universe (no one complains when you take a spyglass to delta in open SP...).

Anyways, spoiler-alert:

Supernovas are found on Gammu (Omicron Kappa, requires neutrality with Zoners), Toledo (Omicron Minor, requires good rep with The Order), Arranmore (Dublin, requires good rep with Mollys).

Razors can be found on Gran Canaria (Omega-49, Zoner), possibly elsewhere, but I rarely use them, unless I have an armoury to requisition them from...

I dont consider the nova an energy based weapon, because... it uses ammo... duh?

The only energy based torpedo slot weapons in the game are the supernova, mini razor, and inferno.

Nova uses energy and ammo. Hybrid, I suppose.

most weapons use energy, even some mines use energy.

I only consider it an 'energy-based' weapon if it doesnt use ammo though =P

Eh, I say that since the other two torp launchers don't use energy.
