Moving ships between accounts

I'm pretty sure that the answer is no, it's not possible (unless you had admin help).

However, here's the question -

Is it possible to transfer a ship between player accounts?
The only reason I want to do this is - when I started joining factions and/or groups, I only had 1 player account. Cool - except now I'm in 3 factions, with an assortment of indy characters. I would like to the ability to have all of one factions characters in one account.

And no, I'm not a coder anymore. I used to be decent with FORTRAN, but...

It's not possible, in order to do it the server has to be taken offline and then the player data for each character needs moving to the account folders where you want it moved to, costs us a lot of time. Unless something goes epically screwy with the player database, it'll only happen in extreme emergencies.
