We will keep our promise about our own story:
"The Maltese Exiles showed up the first time when the Nacion, back then ruled by the Crimson Cross, started their assault on Freeport 11. It was the moment the back then glorious Warship Commander John McMurphy finally stood up and actively went against the Cross' acts of cooperation with the Nomads.
After successfully defending Freeport 11 alongside with all others who helped they found themselves in exile with not many helping hands around. Yet they managed to endure until the Crimson Cross weakened.
Despite losing their commander for almost three months, Rosa and the others went to, together with a few Maltese families, found what today is known as the National Council while the Maltese Exiles became the Nacion's first real intelligence service.
Before John's return the acting commander, Rosa Veraz, realized that her own ranks were infected by Nomad spies. She gathered everything she could, including the intelligence service's flagship, the Venganza.
So the remnants of the exiles left Maltese Space once they assassinated some of the infected forces. Once again exiled after showing the Nacion the truth they made their way back into a Sirius full of enemies and nobody was to be trusted. It stayed like this for a while until they found themselves having a constant supply of all necessary goods.
To this date the Maltese Exiles lack any official ally. There are also no official statements about numbers, fleet, relations to other groups or influence of them. Rumors occur that the National Council is unable to simply kill them for several unknown reasons, also rumors appeared that there was a lonely Exiles fightercraft in the Omicrons, peacefully talking to the Slomon K'Hara."
