If that's the case, can I expect factions named Hezbollah and Hamas to be a thing soon? Though these two are very specific names for very specific groups, so is Schutzstaffel.
Then again, it's just words in some cases, right? By that logic, Konzentrationslager could be a central storing for grain, National Socialists aren't Nazis because they're actually just overly patriotic leftwing activists, the KKK is the Kusari Kaigun (someother word with K), etc etc...

I actually wish to know how far we can push this now, as there's quite a list of words and abbreviations that have rather unpleasant connotations to them. Schutzstaffel is one of those and when an admin confirmed it prior to you posting that it's alright, then I'd like to see that acknowledgement in green on forums please, so we all can go our merry way with what a human mind could possibly come up with.
Can't force Jansen to give his green here, you need to wait for it, if something bothers him, I said, he should invisible the thread so we can change it, also, maybe you might be sensible to this topic but I am not, Werdi is not, Jansen also seems to see the inRP sense and forget about the truly unpleasant past this name had.
The thing with german terms is that most of them have existed before Nazi-Deutschland, with some of them coined through that time, but some of them still exist without the constant necessity to relate them to Nazi-Deutschland. Schutzstaffel (SS) (Schutz = defense/shelter; Staffel = squadron, wing) is one of those terms I'd personally rather not like to see being used, as there are so many other terms and conjunctions that can be used.
Aside from that, the mentality of being a jerk for the sake of being a jerk is poor show.
