Freelancer ID (or the equivalent in special operative), Freelancer IFF 'Hel' Cruiser with no weapons.
3. Exact name, identification and affiliation of the character:
Current Ship Name: Hull.No382-Indigo
Planned Ship Name: [FL-ER]Warship.Sagres (change it to this if possible)
Currently UN ID and IFF, will be changed to FL ID and IFF eventually, if approved.
4. Why is this request necessary for the continuation of this character's roleplay?
As it currently stands, the freelancer ID cannot fly cruisers, yet the Unioners have offered us one. As such we are requesting an exception to the limit while we work on fixing up and learning how to fly and supply such a large vessel, before applying for a special operative ID to get access to the required tech-cells. The story of this ship is still very much in its early stages, and without any way to actually fly the ship, our options to roleplay with/around it are very limited.
Addendum: Since this has taken us so long to write, we have now moved the cruiser up to The Barrier Gate, but still using a Unioner ID. We feel that going much further with the Unioner ID attached wouldn't make much sense, as it is now at a stage to properly be handed over to our control.
5. What short-term and long-term goals are you planing to achieve on this character?
Short term: Finish off the cruiser, equip it with weapons, assemble a crew, learn how to captain the ship
Long Term: Provide a strong escort and backup for FL-ER and independent freelancer vessels throughout Sirius, particularly within the Border and Edge worlds. Use it to support our allies. Part-time (bounty) hunting those that have shown themselves to be enemies of FL-ER, where and when possible, against foe's that can match Cruiser-level firepower (ie mollies, RHA, GRN)

-Initial Offer from the unioners UN|, delivery of materials in exchange for the cruiser
-Call to FL-ER to start assembling crew and supplies
-Request to the Corsair Council of Elders to lend us a drydock
-Internal messages between leaders of FL-ER to discuss how to proceed after Corsairs turned us down
-One of our members taking note of the Crayter Republic's shipyard
-A communication from the Crayter Republic about using their shipyard
-Seeing if we would be able to dock the cruiser on Poena Outpost for basic repairs until we can find a usable shipyard
-The first step of the convoy, moving the cruiser to Newport as reported in the FL-ER mission report center
-Contacting LPI for an escort through liberty
-Contacting the Crayterian Admiralty again regarding the use of their Shipyard and outfitting the Hel.
-Informing the Poena Administration that the Cruiser arrived safely
-Discussing a possible Warship training with Harmony
-Meeting with AFC, UN, HA and GG, to discuss among other things the convoy to take the cruiser to Kepler.
8. How long has this character been building its backstory?
The ship was origianlly intended for LWB, but it seems that that didn't work out, so UN contacted us in late January, and we've been working off and on on the story since then.
