Greetings, ladies and gentlemen. This is Ethan Jackson, freelancer and former owner and chairman of EJ Trading.

I have a proposition for you, but first of all, let me tell you what I'm up to.

I recently undertook a cartographic mission, whereby I would visit and map every system in Sirius and stop at every station where I had docking rights.

To that end, I purchased - second hand - one of your Osprey II SHF fighters, since its' qualities made it ideal for this kind of mission. I retro-fitted it with all the equipment I thought I'd need (cloaking device, ablative armour, an enhanced reconnaissance package and energy field equipment, and set off.

Thus far, I have fully mapped Gallia, Bretonia, Kusari, Rheinland, Liberty and the Tau systems and am soon to begin mapping the Sigmas, Border and Edge worlds.

The problem I have, is that with all the extra equipment I've piled in , the power plant is only operating at 75% efficiency. As I'm sure you can imagine, I really don't want to be going into Wilde and Nomad sectors with my shield recharge time compromised by 1/4.

To that end, here's my proposal: I will gladly furnish you with a copy of all the data I've accumulated so far, and the rest when my task is completed. What I'd be asking from you, is to fully strip down and overhaul my ship prior to this final leg of my tour and fix the power plant problem for me. I am, obviously, willing to bear the cost of any repairs or upgrades which you think are necessary.

I hope we can come to an arrangement and look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Mr Jackson Greetings.

I am Jerard Voncloud representative of the Confederation which currently holds authority over Livadia.
From what ive read your having issue with the power plant under performing and i suspect i may know why.
Before i can consider the overhall which potentially could be a waste of time for yourself and Livadia staff i would ask if you could submit the loadout of your Osprey to me so that a basic troubleshoot can be done before any resources are committed.
Once this is done then we can see how best to proceed.

Greetings, Mr Voncloud. Thank you for getting back to me.

The setup I currently have is as follows:

Weaponary

3x Imp. Debilitator Mk I (class 7)
2x Heavy Flashpoint (class 8)
2x Heavy Flashpoint turret (class 2)
2x Maxim chaingun (class 10)
1x Nuclear mine.

Other equipment

Light cloaking device
Advanced Protector shield (class 5)
Advanced deep scanner
Enhanced thruster
Reconnaissance module
Energy field equipment

I also have an HN-C11 engine, a Mk8 armour upgrade and have fitted extra ablative armour, although I don't think that these would adversely affect the power consumption.

I think that the root of the problem may well lie with the power core having to deal with non Zoner tech. Or perhaps it just doesn't like the fact that I'm not a Zoner

Anyhow, thanks for taking the time to reply. If there's anything your tech or engineering departments could do, I'd be eternally grateful.
