As stated before on Skype, your instant jump to "memery" accusation amuses me. Consider the following:
He spent a year in what amounts to Nomad turf which got really fun in the middle when the Nomad psychic emissions got his buddies, who he then had to put down before they murderized him, incidentally amounting to half of all deaths total aboard that ship.
He started out as what amounts to a comfortable sheltered middle-class personage with absolutely no training on how to handle the stuff that happened to him.
He also has Dissociative Identity Disorder.
Said Nomad psychic emissions consisted of all possible input he had, and it is only due to his pre-existing condition did he not succumb as well.
Side note: He actually did talk normally pre-year in space. So if you consider trying to roleplay the logical consequences of literal mindrape, extended isolation, having to kill one's friends, and other pleasant topics to be memeing, then I'm sorry, but I guess I'm memeing by your standards.
