+Strategy Savant: Growing up and encouraged toward a sharp, analytical mindset, Sofia is capable of pulling off acts of brilliant strategery.
-Slow & Steady: Growing up in high Gallic culture, lends one a certain patience in life. Such ingrained habits have lead Sofia to be cautious, yet deliberate in handlings when involved in combat. This does tend to anger those around her.
+Sharp Eyes: Sofia has exceptionally good senses, able to keep track of multiple opponents in a combat situation, and handle seeming mind boggling numbers at once during tactical planning.
-Hyper Awareness: These senses are the result of hyper-sensivity, In simplest terms, Sofia simply cannot -not- notice things. Sofia's eyes are very sensitive to light, and she has displayed a notable distaste for bright flashes and artificial lighting coming on too suddenly, as it leaves her near blinded.
+Physical Combatant: In hand to hand and sword to sword, Sofia has been thoroughly drilled both by upbringing and the rigors of military life into a very competent fighter. Approach with caution.
-Snubcraft Combat: Though she is an excellent thinker and gifted in analyzing and reacting to a situation appropriately, this rarely extends to combat that involves her having direct control of a ship;. She is far more capable commanding a craft than flying it.
+Eloquent: Skilled in the art of speech, her wit is one of her most valuable assets to her arsenal. Especially when that time to be an Officer comes, and even more so when lecturing.
-Low Tolerance: Sofia has a very low threshold for those she deems incompetent, or idiotic.

- Love: Sofia has never experienced a full, loving relationship, and has some very...twisted views of how it should work.
+Frequent Victim: With all that she's been subjected to,Sofia has unusual resistance toward interrogations, even when her life hangs in the balance. To the point she is known to actively deride her tormentors during the act. She's not going to crack easy.
-Arrogant: They say Arrogance is the national pastime of Gaul, in this case it's quite true. She has a very high opinion of herself, and a strong view of who and what is worth her time.
APPEARANCE Sofia is a Gallic woman of impressive height. Her body has a lithe, athletic build to it, with light visible musculature. Her eyes are rather piercing, and possessed of a rare golden color. Sofia keeps her pale hair cut short, though in an elegant manner. She stands with a regal, aristocratic bearing, though detractors might call her stoic in apperance.
BIOGRAPHY Lady Victorix IV Von Karling was born to the quite prestigious Von Karling family of Gallia. The Eldest Daughter of her Parent's branch of the family, she grew up tutored in all the classical arts of a Noble Lady, and the modern Academics required of such a lofty position. Learned in subjects from Algebra to Xenology, Lady Victorix IV lived a most charmed life, though a discontented one. With careers in the Gallic Royal Navy becoming a trend among the scions of Noble Houses, Sofia joined in among this trend, earning her commission from The École Militaire de New Paris. Upon the earning of her commission, she completed the Cadet phase of Officer's Training, becoming a Surface Warfare officer her secondary MOS being CI/HUMINT Special Duty Officer. Despite her Noble Birth, her upbringing was rather spartan, as her family stressed academics and her personal growth, over more pleasureful pursuits. This never really affected her too much, though her parents were somewhat harsh, though not unkind. They were highly logical people, and gave Sofia freedom to do what ever she wanted. Assuming she could justify exactly why she wanted to do the things she asked for. This lead to a very good educational curriculum for her growing up, but one that was a bit lean on 'Fun'. This parenting style had more effects than originally realized, Sofia never had a full relationship, and is still holding out hope for one. The relationships she has been in usually died after just a few weeks, mostly through her fault, as she grew into having a very twisted view of relationships, believing them to necessarily contain drama and lies, through the books she read.
Aided by her somewhat spartan upbringing, Academy life wasn't that challenging for her, exciting more than anything, with the only confrontations surrounding her more Non-traditional upbringing, earning her the attention of other students. From there she completed all necessary courses for a full officer's commission in the Royal Navy and after a year's time as an Adjutant-Ensign, before graduating to a full Lieutenant and being transferred to an independent fleet unit. She served there as an Analytics Officer, a more silent job as she tended to stay back and provide the Captain with updated and accurate information of the battlefield, studying them before serving as Surface Warfare Officer of Patrol Fleet in the Tau systems, before being promoted and transferred to her final position in the GRN. Though a competent enough Captain, she's no One-Woman-Army, and a sub-par fighter pilot and most importantly, she knows it. She's a tactical analyst, an Observer, an officer. She's there to put her people in the best position possible and make sure they can do the job they're specialized in. Despite her normally serious demeanor, she constantly packs Candies in her crew's standard kits, somewhat naively trying to ensure they get what she felt she missed out on. Though not that great of a fighter pilot, she can hold her own, additionally she's a very competent commanding officer, and a people person. She defected away from the GRN, and did not join the Council, following some of the more horrific information she uncovered about their dealings.
Sofia had a younger sister, Marie, a novelist and idealist and some would say an agitator, to whom Sofia was quite close to. This sister, had aims that ran contrary to those of the Crown quite strongly, so much that she became an agent of the Council. Through her writings and action, the violence only escalated. The Council attacked the navy and collaborators, conducted raids on Navy Installations and the Royal Navy responded with executions, undue arrest, and outright torture. Sofia watched people around her vanish overnight, never to even be spoken of again. And most worryingly, her own family came under suspicion.
Marie had talked her into it, working for the Council, on lighter jobs. Taking the Initiative, Sofia attempted to strike a deal with the Crown. She would give them the details of the Council that she had, and in return she and her family would remain in the Crown's good graces. However, something far worse happened. Marie assassinated a high ranking official of the Crown, and instead of the deal she had been given, her sister was arrested. Desperate and with little way out, Sofia acted on impulse and attempted to free her, by charming a guard into assisting her. The rescue failed however, as her sister attacked, and shot her, before they were both arrested.
It was then the Council took the system the two were held in, before word could spread, and they decided to make a show of what happened to those whom betrayed them, locking her away in the cruelest place they could find for her. In the mental choke hold she had put herself into, she thought it was her fault. As the Council found themselves rather pitifully unable to hold on to the world they had taken, she managed to escape one night and steal a Navy Vessel, which she used to flee to Bretonia.
Now acquainted with the Liberty Systems, and the space of it's Allies, Sofia has found her new life with the Liberty Navy quite fitting. Though it is a bother to begin again from the lowest rungs, she has not chafed against authority, and has managed to maintain rather pleasant relations with other members of the First and Fifth Fleet.
Though many are still critical of her and her motives, she has shown dedication during her time in Liberty, intercepting several criminal endeavors during just her first solo patrol. She considers her future prospects bright, but longs for the day this ceaseless war might end,and the Gallia will finally find it's place among the Greater Houses of Sirius.
Sofia has Served with the Liberty Navy for some time now, and has earned herself a full commission as Ensign.
She has critically assisted in several combats, and executed countless patrols as per regulation, and with all due efficacy.
During Combat with the Gallic Forces in Leeds and New London, she has distinguished herself in combat through daring and decisive action, assisting Bretonian forces in pushing back the threat of the Gauls. SHIP BDR-845 "Avenger" Liberty Very Heavy Fighter
The development of the Avenger was primarily driven by the Liberty Security Force, following on from its predecessor the Executioner. As it is more expensive to manufacture, it sees limited use by ordinary Navy squadrons, but are granted to pilots that demonstrate better than average piloting skills. Extended armor and increased power output make this ship able to survive both the rigours of front-line battle and the harsh environment of the Edge Worlds.
Fitted with a 'Breaker' Loadout featuring Paralyzer Missiles and Magma Hammer main armaments, Sofia's Snubcraft of choice carriers a hefty swing behind an agile profile,much like the Lady Herself.
