Aithne Research Academy (ARA)

Aithne Research Academy is a research university long known for its excellent academic programs in engineering and applied science, and its specialized to enhance understanding of mining operations and environment protection.

ARA embraces engineering and sciences related to the discovery and recovery of resources, development of advanced processes and technologies that support the economic, social and environmental systems necessary for a sustainable society.


Founded in 824 A.S. ,as a joint Crayterian-IMG academy under the guidance of the IMG and having veteran miners from the Guild as it’s teachers, it’s mission has been influenced by the needs of society. Those needs are now focused more clearly than ever before, to create a sustainable and growing Crayterian society and ARA and its programs are central to the solution.

The Academy developed a research program geared towards responsible stewardship of the land and its resources.

Courses offered by the Aithne Research Academy includes chemistry, metallurgy, mineralogy, mining engineering, geology, math solving the society challenges related to the energy and the environment

ARA graduates are in great demand by CMI company. ARA degree programs provide a technical education and students receive exposure and training in areas such as communication, leadership, teamwork and ethics. Additionally, the extensive laboratory infrastructure ensures students have plenty of hands-on training in their coursework.
