Something wrong is going on with my NVidia GeForce. Yesterday and the day before it was a yellow triangle near NVidia graphics card in device manager. In that time in Freelancer FPS became approximatly 40-50. Now, when that triangle disappeared FPS is near 25. It dissapeared, when system said that I need to restart the computer to configure the graphics card. FPS go down again. How to increase FPS again?

P.S. Seems, I have 2 graphic cards: Intel and NVidia. On the attached photo: normal state of graphics cards (that triangle was in place of that yellow square).

P.P.S. I have a laptop computer, so any physical actions with graphics cards aren't possible.

Update your drivers (can be done easily through the Nvidia website). Then enter the Nvidia control panel (through your desktop, right click should show you the option) and select Freelancer.exe in the program list that will appear. Then select the Nvidia processor for Freelancer. See if that fixes the problem.

Your integrated graphic-card is trying to run Freelancer use the Nvidia software to force the dedicated graphic card to run the executable (freelancer.exe)

Source: Had literally the same problem.
I have a dedicated Nividia Quadro K2000M and Intel HD Graphics 4000 onboard
