With the Battleship Harmony's new combat environment and objectives, certain systems need to be overhauled and redesigned. An update is neccessary as are certain repairs. Our new allies are adept on different fields than the former Navy technicians. It is time to put this to use.
The current Liberty engine inside the dreandought is not maintainable or affordable anymore. Retrofitting is needed for cost efficient use and survivability.

Removal and replacement of the reactor. This is a major operation that will involve removal major structural members from the dreadnaught – and thus, a drydock. The reactor will be surrogated for a MX-285 thorium MOX model comprised of several reactor cores recycled from various vessels. The housing itself, however, will be unique, and we will need Harmony to supply the various components to rebuild the reactor structure. The reactor will be operated as an antimatter initiated fast-fission reactor which should provide comparable power levels.
With the continuous hits the Harmony takes and its travels into less clear areas of space, an update to armor is necessary. Acceleration and thus movement will most likely be harmed slightly.

The external skin of the Harmony will need to be resurfaced, and many of the structural members replaced. Superalloy is difficult to replace without Liberty’s supply chain. A molydenium structural alloy composite can be used instead for roughly the same performance. The Harmony’s current construction is far too logistics dependent to be sustainable far from the grace of the law.

The current wiring and other systems need to be modified and expanded in order to fit current requirements.

The vessel’s wiring harness will need to be entirely rewound to prevent system breakdown with the integration of fresh components. We will need to fabricate nearly twenty thousand kilometres of superconducting wire.
The internal systems need complete reworking. The current Liberty Navy systems are beginning to become a problem with additional software and compatibility with acquired ones.

The vessel’s current computer core is vulnerable to software backdoors placed within the manufacture of most spacecraft. It is possible that infiltrators may be abusing said backdoors to send intelligence to Naval Intelligence. We will have to reconstruct the master computer entirely, which is no mean feat. Whilst we may not be able to equal Agiera’s own work, we will be able to protect the vessel.
We need to know exactly where we and our enemies are. Any surprise could be our last. Thus our scanner systems need to be updated. The Lane Hackers will provide technology of theirs to reach that.
