Location: University of Cambridge, School of Psychology and Psychiatry
Time: 9:30 AM, 25th of June 824 A.S

Thomas was sitting in his office, there was nothing remotely unusual about this, he often showed up early, wrote reports, made lectures, marked assignments or read up on interesting cases that his fellows sent his way. But on this particular occassion, there was something different. He wore slightly finer clothes, looked lightly more presentable, the office was slightly more organised... in fact everything was just so 'slightly' different that everyone who knew Doctor Thomas Scott could have spotted it in a heartbeat. But few, if any, mentioned it, in fact Thomas had specifically requested that he not be disturbed that day for he was expecting a very special guest. Emna Loyloa herself. Of course such a visitor warranted such drastic measures for Thomas. A man who would rarely do anything unless he needed to. With his appearance and office now well above his normally lacking standards he sat down and picked up the nearest thing he could find, an essay one of the first years had submitted. He read the first paragraph and automatically decided that, because he was in such a good mood, he'd pass the student anyway, but continued reading all the same since there wasn't much else to do aside from wait.

Enma Loyola herself walked into the office with a weak, but polite smile. "Doctor Scott, I'm pleased to see you." She greeted the Bretonian, generally it was a good day and University's security is not even bothering. Morally she have prepared herself for a long conversation and will hold herself from making rude remarks as she usually does. Maybe having more conversations with educated Bretonians will help to fix her conversation style. She's being extremely rude after quit the politics after all.

He looked up, a wry smiled etched on his face as she entered his office. ''Miss Loyola, so nice to meet you at last. Please, do have a seat. Would you care for a glass of water or juice before we begin?''

Enma is taking her seat and thinking for a few seconds, deciding what she wants more. Choice was very simple, since she loved one thing above all. "Orange juice, please."

''Of course'' he said wandering over to the nearby table and pouring her a glass. ''Before we begin, I must tell you about the rules and such. On my desk there you will find a contract'' he paused as he gave her her glass ''This contract is rather simple, it states that during this interview, everything you tell me is, to the best of your knowledge, true and that you understand that what you will tell me will become public record.''

He returned to his own seat and sat down ''It also states that should there be a question you don't wish to answer, you don't have too Or you may ask for the recorder to be turned off. If you agree with the terms, please sign'' As he finished he motioned toward a pen lying next to the mentioned contract. All things considered, Thomas was quite excited, Enma Loyola was quite an awe inspireing person, if only by reputation. If she signed, her knowledge would be quite invaluable and the insight which she could provide would be even more so.

Enma is taking a pen and signing up the contract after reading it briefly. After it, she's pulling a small and ancient family stamp, only head of Loyola house could sing documents with this. One short move and coat of arms of Loyola family appeared next to her signature. "It's done. Of course I'm sure that the yellow press will use it in some dirty way, but there's nothing you can do."

She pausing to move contract with a pen towards Bretonian and hide her family stamp. "I hope that it will be a pleasing conversation for us both. This is going to be my first big interview. It's funny, because I never had time for such things and back when I did not one cared about me."

He took the paper and made sure that she had in fact signed it before looking at her with a slightly alarmed look on his face when he heard what she said ''In my experience, everyone has a valid point to raise. So while it might be highly inapropriate to say right now, I care, and not just because of who you are or what you've done but because you're a person, and a person has more value than you could possibly imagine.'' He placed the contracted into an open folder beside him, admireing the crest she had used to stamp it with before returning his attention to her. ''So how about we start with something simple eh?'' he said pressing the record button on the nearby recorder

''Interview with Enma loyola on the topic of her personal history and discussion on Maltese politics. Interview by Doctor Thomas Scott from the School of Psychology. Time is now Ten O'clock.'' He paused and gave her a warm smile before starting ''We'll pretend like this isn't being recorded, it's much more comfortable that way. So, tell me about your childhood, where did you come from?'' he said, knowing full well that a Psychology interview was quite strange, oddly casual, and he hoped that wouldn't put her off.

Enma only kindly smiled after looking at the movements of doctor's hands. She felt some sort of personal sympathy coming from him, however it was to early to make any conclusions about how interview will go. Enma really wouldn't mind any complicated questions or so, but friendly attitude of the person who's taking an interview felt important.

Enma thought for a second, before started to speak. She did not proclaim words as she would do during the public speech, but her manner was far away from the daily conversation on the kitchen either.

"It's hard to find something notable from my childhood on the spot. My family was at it's complete fall down by the time I was born. Last 200 years Loyola were on other families service due to hard conditions. So no, I wasn't a princess in castle as one could imagine. My school experience was rather shameful, if you value those marks relevant. It did not find school program any interesting and barely did any homework. I had a couple of good friends, but sadly our friendship ended as school was over. I only wish I would value time with my parents more, but I guess it's quite sentimental of me. Overall, I can't tell I was a problematic child."

''So when you were younger, did you have any idea on what you wanted to do? A plan of any kind?'' he asked, glad that she was more relaxed than he thought she would be, but not quite as much as he would like. ''And how far did you succeed with your plan? if there was one'' he quickly added.

She thought for a longer time, trying to remember and form up the answer. Enma touches her own neck before replying. "I did not have a dreams or ambitions. I even feel kind of jealous to the people who can dream and trying to make it a reality. I was not really excited about becoming a fighter pilot later. At some point I had to, because of my dynasty and well... 'traditions'. I bet that for our public in conservative Houses it will be easier to understand. So no, I did not predict my future at any regard, nor someone else did."
