Guildsmen and Women.

As recently reinstated as Inspecteur of Rheinlands Federal Polizei, I've been shown the recent tensions that have flared up as of late in the Sigma's betwen members of the Rheinwher and GMG.

You may remember that in my time as CEO of RepEx, we enjoyed a very fruitful partnership between Rheinland and the GMG, now I urge you to look for a peaceful resolution before I am forced to stand by my post and no longer look upon you as friends.

Please do not make me have to tell my offizers that we can now longer stand eye to eye and have to follow suit in order to protect our homes.

We have one shot at this. I beg you to look at other alternatives.

the relations between Rheinland and the Gas Miners Guild are horrible and since I got to know Admiral Sterr, I am not surprised why. His personality and mine are simply not getting along, not to mention the sudden appearance of Rheinland Military squadrons in my Sigmas claiming to protect the system. I told them that this is fine, really, I mean it. If the Rheinland Military doesn't have anything better to do than protecting Sigma-13 for our benefit and on their costs, I am fine with it. I am not really in the mood for war at all because I have enough other things to do which is why the ignorance and Admiral Sterr's feel for superiority is getting on my nerves. The Sigmas are not owned by Rheinland and can't be used like a sidewalk for the Military, I don't care about any treaties that are 7 years old, this is not the same administration, different people, different rules. Now if you have a plan to prevent a war from happening, feel free to tell me, I'd like to concentrate on business rather than a repetition of the 80 years war.

At this point I will admit there is very little I can do. You may be correct that the times are different and people, but should both sides sacrifice the peaceful co-existance we've had since the 80 years war? I think not. In my position all I can suggest is to basically back down before Admiral Sterr is forced to react.

The ball is in your court sadly. All I can do is watch and pray for peace.

the problem here is that Admiral Sterr is the one taking the measures, not me. We had peace before because the previous Admirals didn't suddenly decide to enforce their will on other people's territories. Again, we won't move an inch about it and just continue with our own business, the Rheinland Military is, for now, allowed to do as it wishes. You need to talk to Admiral Sterr, not me.

Twenty-Four.....

Twenty-Four folded flags I will be handing out to families soon....

I deal with the loss of Offizers nearly every day on several planets and each time another falls I must steel my nerves to brace myself for the bellowing cries of mother's draped over the coffins of each one, The sunken faces of Father's asking themselves over and again on why they couldn't save them. The time I need to take in writing out letters to their families on how their work helped to make their homes and lives better. And each time I must swallow my pride in humiliation for having to put them into such lines of work...

I... I'm distraught Guildmistress by this act in Frankfurt... Publicly I have announced the end of co-operation between our parties but I must use logic and reason to see more into this situation. No longer am I able to hold back those of a higher power than I, and unless this ....incident... can be explained by you towards the Bundestag, I have no choice but to accept any orders they hand me.

There are three children and a wonderful woman waiting for me at home on Stuttgart every day I go to work. And every day that I have to go out of the office and into the field, I pray that they do not have a folded flag handed to them and the thought of one of them asking their mother "Why wont daddy wake up?"

I am currently sending this from my luxurious apartment on Honshu while holding a tablet that shows me about 50 new reports about this "attack". First off, I am not Guildmistress anymore, I decided to get a nice rent for myself and retire when Admiral Sterr and all of Rheinland tried to throw the garbage against us. However, that this attack was not decided by the GMG is more than obvious, I am almost laughing over your naivety. What would all the peace negotiations have been for? What did I pay a fine for? What did we do this all for if we staged another attack 2 months later? A few stolen ships and transponders and you got the perfect cover-up. Normally the BDM would probably try to undermine this fraud but Rheinland has been pushing for this conflict enough for me to believe that they only waited for something like this to happen. Now I wish you a lot of fun in another useless conflict you think the GMG has started. Miss Hotaru Mori is the new Guildmistress, but she is too busy to deal with any attacks. My advice: Investigate first and declare war later.
