OSC Closing Down

Hello everyone, you may have noticed that Orbital Spa & Cruise has been a rarity both on the server and forums for several months now. Unfortunately things have not been going well for us and the time has finally come to admit defeat.

We'll be finishing up our remaining RP before the faction itself closes down, hopefully another group will eventually take our place.

It's been coming awhile, the server as a whole just doesn't have the atmosphere that it had when OSC began. We had a good run, did some fun RP and events but now that fun has dried up there's nothing left for us to do.

While OSC may be going, the people who made it will still be around and hopefully we can find a new purpose.

Sad to hear this, I enjoyed every single (sadly rare for me) interaction I had with OSC on forums and ingame. I will miss seeing you guys around and will fly the customized Dorado more often in memories of you guys!

Hope you all find a new thing to be motivated about, will look forward to see you under other banners, the pleasing interactions surely won't cease.

I see. I hope you'll continue managing Curacao, otherwise I would offer to step in. Really sad to see we never got to do more with each other, but I hope we can keep up the juices. Maybe Paul ever gets to continue his Corsair Smuggling Ring Story on Curacao.

I dare say you'll still see some liners flying about, and as for Curacao, well I never really managed it. I came to realise that Curacao works best as a planet unregulated, a paradise that embodies the notion "It isn't illegal if you don't get caught." That's just me though.

Don't shut down, just keep it on the minimum life support. That way it can undergo a full revival with ease in the future. It's much better than having to start from scratch again. :¬)

Once OSC is gone someone can always take up the task if they want, I however would advise against it. The server has shifted to being more goal and conflict focused which leaves "talking" factions like Orbital Spa & Cruise with very little to do but talk to each other during flights, we're the civilians trapped in a warzone to put it blunty.
