BIG NEWS! Oi'm settin' up a Pub somewhere in Liberty. And oi'll be wantin some advoice now. Could y'be tellin' me where the best place t'set up me ' pub up?
I was 'tinkin' about setting up PADDY'S IRISH PUB in Manhatten. Not sure why but seems logical like. Me bein' a bit partial to imbibin' a wee dram of Junkers Joy Texas springs to mind.
Looking at the scanner... a strange blip. I set a waypoint to the direction.
"What IS that? It isn't huge, but it sends out a peculiar light". (Checks spectrometer)
"That is strange... it indicates the light is neon, but very intense green and gold. No WAY! It is a pub! A real genuine IRISH pub".
I go in... the decor is basic, utilitarian. I shuffle up to the bar and ask for a sidewinder fang. None. Then I ask for a bottle of the pub's best.
Nonchalantly I whip off the top as I survey the patrons. I take a long draught of this... Junkers Joy?
"Never heard of this brand."
In a moment my tongue goes numb... my head starts to reel. I try to stand but my body will not obey. Sheer force of will gets me to stand. and I stagger over to someone, anyone for help. I reach out for this beauty... at least my mind says she was intoxicating. I fall to the floor and crawl to her, I reach up to get her attention, but I fall short and my hand barely touches her.
She turns, hits me with a club, and then insults me by calling me a CORE pilot. My humiliation was complete and I then pass out.
"Oi! Harden up Undertaker. You be very mindful of what you say about what oi do. It is not called a club, foolish man. It's an ancient weapon of old earth called a shillelagh. And if you touch my bum again you lecherous loony oi'll be havin' ya good and proper now, d'you hear"?
Turns, composes herself, puts on a smile and goes over to a new customer by the name of Tunicle. A mysterious yet ruggedly handsome man, but one Paddy became thoughtful about. She knew nothing about this stranger, and she sense he was a man of great authority and power.
