History of the HAF in Discovery

Sleeper-Ships arrived at Sirius from the Solar System. Great Houses were established and each House established its own armed forces.

What the history of Sirius is not, because nobody is interested, is that Hispanics, who arrived in the Sleeper-Ship Hispania also did. Formed the HAF (Hispania Armored Forces), created to fight on the borders of the territories Hispanics, against the rest of the big houses and against Nomadas (in close collaboration with the Order).

So the years passed, effectively controlled the HAF of Hispania (Hispanics systems) and other nomads and human Houses kept at bay, could not encroach on their borders.

This happened the great betrayal of the outcast, their brothers from the HAF and also against all human Sirius, to be almost allied with nomads.

The HAF fleet was destroyed in just a few hours, did not expect an attack from within. It was a sad day for Hispania, because is gone as such, was divided between two opposing forces, the outcast who dominated the traffic Cardamine and Corsairs.

The survivors of the HAF dispersed. Many went to Crete, where his brothers were welcomed Corsairs and enrolled in its ranks, fighting against the nomads and the outcast, avenging the fallen. Others are enrolled at Zoners forces, they go unnoticed for the rest of Sirius, Zoners to be a neutral force and full of immigrants and refugees around Sirius.

And the years passed and forget that one day, Hispanics were a big house and had its own navy defended the union of Hispanics and their systems.

But here in secret, the HAFs still working. Corsairs with each other with Zoners, but always in touch. And design a plan that would lead them to re-unite and to release Hispania outcast of the portfolios of the Cardamine of his dictatorship that turned into slaves and consumers collectors inexhaustible. In great secrecy, were collecting their winnings were buying ships and arrived a day, not long ago, when the HAF began to fly back to space, Gamma, with his brothers Corsairs.

Its objective is clear, the enemy also, their determination and faith in the final victory is unwavering. The HAF is becoming stronger, while preparing the final assault against their enemies, the outcas and external enemy common to almost all humans, damn Nomadas.

Role of the HAF in Discovery

The HAF is Hispania Armored Forces. Patrol systems Hispanic enemy incursions Corsairs protecting them and verify that no one deals with Cardamine.

The IFF is Corsair.
The TAG is HAF-Name.

The Role of the HAF is the armed forces of the systems Corsairs, we are not pirates. Attacking any Cardamine carrying and not expelled. Also, any enemy of this where the HAF. The ultimate objective of the HAF is to relieve the systems of the Outcast Cardamine portfolios and unify all systems in a large Hispanic House, of which being the Armed Forces.

I've got a little advice for you: try to integrate you a little bit into the community before you try to start a faction. There've been quite a lot of people from various clans trying to import their clan to this server...and well, pretty much all of them failed (with probably the exception of the Black Squadron, though they're pretty much inactive now). We are a RP community. Things work different here.

I have to interject-
First off, the just recent events seem to be a MAJOR reason that this should wait if not, be stopped. The corsairs have guilds, and they are respectable. The power struggle that will ensue from one guild over another guild over another guild will end up in a disorganized faction that is in civil war, like what we saw already in the last 30+ minutes.
I like more siars, I like you guys so far, but really, most of you have joined in the last WEEK!

Server rules are still being told to some of you as reminders often,

I have instructed a few of you already about OOC weapon loadouts (the wyrms?).

Now this recent problem of consistent arguing on "who is boss" shows me one thing- that this could become the downfall of the Corsair nation, and the OOC system arguing will increase.
You guys need to know the facts of the Elders, the rules of the server, the expirience of the allies, friends and leaders before you just waltz in and start planing another faction.

Sorry guys, I have helped and worked with you all, but I got to say no to this. I will still help out my fellow corsairs BUT- if it comes between you HAF v.s. OPG+TBH+Benitez again, well...... good luck, you're gonna need it, and warning, Lonestar carries a knife, a big one.

Nope, Linkus Hispania made it to Sirius but was sabotaged. Outcasts and Corsairs blame each other for the sabotage..

There are many hispanic factions already. Try Joining The Brotherhood [+] they are not as pirate oriented as OPG, perhaps. Really try fitting in to existing factions first.

Otherwise, you guys seem to be experienced players, learn the ways of Disco server, take some time and then create a large faction, seeing as you don't have any power traders and no capital ships, you just might aswell be the best "new" hispanic faction yet. Take time, adjust to the new server, and i'm sure we'll get along great. Read the rules many times over. They are complicated but explain a lot. And start with this...:

Well, I would agree with what others said, and I will say following:

1. Hispania was blown up before colonies were setup, its rumored coalition spies did it. Corsairs were group who decided to land at second ship was sabotaged, and they landed on Crete. Outcasts pushed onwards and in end landed on Malta when remains of ship Hispania couldnt move more. Both factions met actually very lately in freelancer history, and main start of battles wasnt cardamine but control of space.

2. We understand urge to play with your friends, thats ok and dandy, but there is one issue. You cannot expect us to adapt to you, actually community expects you to mould to our own setup.

3. Your faction statement/request is lacking some vital parts. Those include proper diplomacy sheet, used ships and weapons, ZoI and home base.

4. If this is faction request you need to pay up 500 mils to admins before you can post it.

5. This is on personal note from my encounter with you:
a) Do not rulelawyer in system chat when you do not understand rules yourself
b) This server is strictly roleplaying one. Its something you will hardly find in any online game and we expect you to adapt it and play that way. Its simply what this server is all about.
c) There are many unwritten rules that are more connected to actual "faction lore" or "fluff" if you prefer. For instance, Corsairs will favor own ships to any other. Moreso, most people are afraid of nomad tech and anything nomad related, they arent too mad about mounting nomad equipment.

Thanks to all. Nathrael. We Know it....but our comunity love this game. We must try it. Disco is a new idea about freelancer and very exciting. its possible that u have reason. only want one oportunity.

Bjorn. I know the rules of post for new factions, and, yes....we are working in the payment of 500 millions for this. I hope solve it in hours. Some trains are in route in this moments. We are in Disco a week ago.

We have today an incident in gamma, and was necessary this little post for our presentation. We need the help for all Disco comunity.
