Good evening. So you might have heard about this already but two days ago at 1800 hours the 5th fleet launched a suprise attack on the Hellfire Legion in the system of Vespucci. The goal of the operation was to create a diversion for Captain Franklin Drake and former Vice Admiral Curtis Jackson to escape. The operation altough successfull it came with its own price. Fortunatly no KIAs or MIAs. We lost some fighters and a gunboat was severely damaged, both targets managed to reach the Odyssey and then we retreated back to California using a jump drive wich unfortunatly burned out thanks to some complications between the ship's power distribution system and the drive itself.
All in all we are fine altough this also raised the question of what to do next? Especially since officially Curtis Jackson is a traitor. Unofficialy he recieved secret orders from Admiral O'Neill shortly before the Admiral's death, to go undercover within the legion and gather intell and sabotage. The problem with this whole story is that Mr.Jackson requested his previous position back as Vice Admiral of the 5th fleet. His after action report is will be presented to you as well since if i remember correctly you said that you want to know more about Jackson's assignment.
