Starting out tips?

I could really use some

so far i had many problems getting money, specifically from missions since most npcs are affected by my lag(I have 200-300 ping with the server since Im far from it) wich makes even the most basic rogue npcs do some weird maneuvers wich usually result in me crashing into them destrying myself in the process

So I could really use some tips on making money earlier and a good way to start

and I already have the idea of joining the Bretonian Navy, just wanted to get a better armed ship for the trip throughout badlands ^^

Well you can always mine silver in the Colorado Silverton field..

Or just join a faction and let them donate some cash to you.:P

how do you mine? just shoot the small asteroids?

and where would you sell the silver for money?

even I get loans, there would be no way for me to pay them nless I find a way to make money ^^

Here are a few ways to make money:
Escort traders as a freelancer/bounty hunter/mercenary.
Smuggling! Try delivering counterfeit software from Rochester, New york, to Arranmore base, Dublin. Note that Arranmore is owned by the mollys; if you are not neutral with the mollys you can drop it off at the IMG battleship hood in dublin instead. Either way, bring back gold to Rochester or Manhatten.
A more legal trade route would be to bring pharmaceuticals to the IMG base in tau-44, then bring back niobium to Manhatten.

The IMG base you are talking about is Falkland, and it is in Tau 37.
And yes, it is a good route.

Personally, I usually do that one, with the exception of transporting passengers from Manhattan to Falkland, and niobium to Manhattan from Falkland.

Just watch out for pirates in those routes.
