Background

After a year held captive since turning himself over to the 72nd Maltese Fleet, Samuel Locklear, the Hellfire Legion's Lord Commander, has finally been released in exchange for the Legion's aging Outcast warhips, Abaddon and Ravager. Onboard the Destroyer Navarra bound for Vespucci flanked by a light escort, their path takes them past the Carcassonne and her battlegroup. Hoping to slip past the Carcassonne undetected along the edge of the Roatan ice field, the small convoy is intercepted and forced to fight back. Hopelessly outnumbered, Locklear scrambles in a Maltese Rapier to fight a losing battle against impossible odds.

Meanwhile, the Legion receives the convoy's distress call and scrambles a fighter wing to rescue Locklear and their newfound friends in the 72nd. Behind them is the Destroyer Abaddon, in tow for artillery support and one final fight under the Legion's banner.
