I did asked for one before, but yes, a souncloud plugin or any other audio service4 plugin to (optionally) enhance forum posts would be good.

There was an existing entry in there for Soundcloud that looked dangerous, this version only allows your URLs like this:

Where 'zmote' and 'confusion' are alphanumeric/hyphen/underscore characters, and the #t=0:54 is optional (can only have numbers either side of the colon).
