I was wondering for a while now, thou I haven't been on here for a while, due to work, and other things. A sort of branch off from the Nomads. Lets say, a strong minded Nomad decides to think for itself, and begins converting the weaker minded nomads to serve for the cause. An entirely different fraction at war with the general Nomads. And they would infect outcasts for more numbers for the "Undermind"'s cause.
Just something interesting, possibly already thought up.
Sorry, no civil wars will be there, you've picked absolutely wrong faction for that in terms of roleplay. Period. Not only that but you entirely miss the point how their society works. No overminds, no underminds, sorry, none of that is there. It doesn't work that way.

Nomads don't posses personality as an individuals, they have it but up to certain degree.. not evolved one. They are connected into Mindshare (like internet) form which they can hear/ sense others thoughts and from which they take their assignments (given by special kinds of Nomads). It is collective they strive to, and no chance they would kill other Nomad. Their goal is common to all nomads, so i can't see how your idea can happen.
What skoko means have you ever watched start trek(the borg collective)on another note it can be corrupted(in theory)but only trough infested ones connected to mind share but still nomads are um er very picky:)
