I have wanted nothing more than to see a Kijima lead the Shogunate, however, as my brother's clan grows in strength so does their wariness of him. For Hisayuki to claim the Shogunate now, Kohaku must die. If Kohaku was to fall, the Hideyoshi family in disarray would have no chance of remaining in power and the Kijima strength would be unchallengeable by the other clans. However, the Kijima are frontward warriors we lack the tact or stealth to be assassins. The Yubokumin have taken many lives this way. How does Shikoku, Capital of the Yubokumin sound to you, eh?
Being part of Kohaku's Retinue I thought I would be able to get close enough to do it myself, but I can't what I can do however is get you information on any visitors he may have, I'm thinking that's going to be our way in.

I have news that the Shogun is expecting a guest, a professor of some kind, either way, I'm sure we could try to convince the Shogun to leave Kyoto to meet his esteemed guest. Although his personal escort will be heavy he will be a much easier target outside of Kyoto's fortifications.
