The Hispania War has been raging for who knows how long...
The War in the Taus has lead to constant fighting between Kusari and Bretonia, with heavy losses on both sides.
Liberty and Rhienland now find themselves on the brink of war.

If Liberty and Rhienland somehow end up in an open conflict, the Nomads will have completed one of their main objectives.

Every House in Sirius will be at war.

This will weaken the Human's military resources and populations; Leaving the Nomads to possibly do as they please after that point.

A simple observation which has seemingly gone unnoticed.

A great opportunity to make an RP post, you know? Create a government and military analyst character and have him appear on a TV program saying that, only embellished.

It's like the Nomad war, except worse.

@gronath I will take that into consideration, a possible character I could use is the Creator of my Order Ai, Doctor Zimmerman

He would be in a position to have this information I believe

I will work on this

Don't worry! The Consortium will save you!

We're like the Order for the 'me' generation!

*goes off to plot Sirius-takeover-by-Nomad-exploitation-scheme*

All that begins must end.

Yes, those are troubling times now and ahead for Sirius. Conflicts rage all around, new ones are emerging and neither seem to be ending up soon. When diplomatic talks are over it's cannons do the talking.

As for the "associates", they are seemingly forgotten by major houses, mostly lurking around rim systems. Biding time. And it's ticking. Desperate times call for desperate measures to take. Question is who will take them first.

I sense a "Morden-like" tone in your voice, Treewyrm.

Well, what will happen to the nomads will remain unclear since Freelancer 2 was canceled :(

However if all of the human wars in sirius stopt, and all of the humanity stand united v/s the nomads, well that wuld be too borring :nono:

And a war between Liberty and Rheinland happens somehow, then it wuld seem logical to me the formation of
Liberty-Bretonia Aliance and Kusari-Rheinland Aliance.I doubt they will go evryone for themself.

And as we know,in times of war the progress goes exponentialy up.

So after all,war is a good thing

Thus leaving it to us, or whoever will follow after, to fulfill that part eventually.

More or less they are perceived as a minor threat nowadays. For various reasons. Some believe only few of them are left, others think they are simple incapable of doing it or consider them gone already or even that they never were in the first place, it's up to interpretations and imaginations, either way, whatever the thought behind is they don't seem to pose much of a threat. Is it real? Is that perception true? Whether it's true or not remains to be seen.

@gronath: ...more like a vague hint to the possible roleplay opportunities to take that people are missing, either out of narrow views or fear of being repressed for thinking outside of the box, or sometimes both. *shrug*

My suggestion, make a Hispania Union group. Try and weave the broken fibers back together.

Have a rally in Eta.
