Since March 2, I finally have landline internet again after the superstorm.
How have the last 6 months been for the community (and perhaps for you)?
In your own words of course (you can make it fun or silly if you want).
Eager to read your replies!
Cheers,
Sky

This thread is meant to be about you all / Disco, not about me; I don't think it's been devoid of things worth mentioning (It doesn't have to be important to everyone else; only to you).

Get ready for a Wall-O-Text! These are all of the changes I can think of, off the top of my head.
I think one of the biggest additions in the last 6 months has been a slew of new engines for a lot of unlawful groups: Blood Dragons, the Order, Hessians, Gaians, Coalition, and Hellfire Legion. On the lawful side of things, the Core and Crayterians got some engines, as well.
Battlecruisers have been re-worked, and now have their own turret and shield class. This makes them easier to balance, since their armaments are now all a class of their own. They've received a few updates, and the general populace seems content with the most recent changes.
Snubs have received some love, too! A few months ago, All class 8 and 9 guns were rolled into class 8, so that Heavy Fighters and Very Heavy Fighters have access to the same NPC-bought guns, thus making HFs competitive again. Furthermore, Auxiliary Slots were removed, which only helps the HF class further. In addition, Class 1 and 2 turrets are now all class 1, and all fighters (sans LFs) and freighters can make use of them. Some freighters, such as the Grizzly, can now mount LF guns, in addition to HF/VHF guns.
Science Data has received more updating - There's a bunch of new snub codenames, as well as capital ship codenames, as well! Cap codes have about a 1% drop rate chance from mission-spawned NPCs, if you want to try your hand at that.
A few new ships have been added! Outcasts have their own Battle Transport now, and the Lane Hackers have their own VHF and Heavy Bomber. Kusari has a new VHF in the form of the Wyvern - It's basically a Chimaera with more spikes and firepower. Meanwhile, the Ragnar is now very similar to the Pelican; it sports freighter weaponry, has a transport shield slot, and I think it cruises like a bomber..? (Not sure on that last part)
The Kusari Civil War has ended. The Imperials have merged back into the Republic, though there is still a bit of tension amongst the KNF's ranks. Meanwhile, Rheinland declared war upon the GMG, thanks to the Wild masquerading as GMG and NEMP'ing the Sigma-13 JG in Frankfurt. The Sigmas have been seeing some increased activity as the Corsairs, Kusari and Rheinland all want in on the resources of the newer Sigma systems (21 and 59).
Gallia has now pushed into New London - They have an npc Battleship stationed near Trafalgar, which.. Was somehow seen as an inconvenience, and got wrecked by the Royal Navy? I'm still scratching my head on that one. Either way, the Junkers are now rightly mad at the deaths of their own people caused by Trafalgar's destruction. Gallia now also has ZOI in California, and have an npc Battleship in Cortez, as well. They're trying to starve Bretonia of resources by cutting it off from Liberty.
Jump trading is a thing again, to a lesser degree. Jump fields cannot accommodate transports; only freighters, plus the Ragnar which now has around 800 cargo.
There is currently an Uncharted System accessible! It can be reached via Shikoku - I'm not solid on the location, but I know the JH is on the western portion of Shikoku. Be careful - The Dragons and KNF have been having spats within, although the biggest threat is likely the terrorists within known as the Defilers. Right now, the jump hole is accessible by fighters and I think maybe freighters, though certain times of the day allow for larger ships to pass through.
Just a few days ago, a new minable commodity was added to Bering: Military Salvage. Check out the latest Patch Notes for further details!
That's all I can think of. Hope that helps!
