Why the Rogue ID and IFF? How do you differentiate yourselves from the Lane Hackers and Harmony who are essentially doing the same thing, beyond using a different tag and faction to do it? I really don't want to rain on anyone's parade here, but I kind of feel the fight the power shindig is getting old, and I really wish we could just have some good old fashioned pirates in Liberty (or anywhere else for that matter). While I realize that certainly isn't going to stop you from doing what you want to do, if nothing else, can't that kind of activity be consolidated under one flag?

We quite understand your point!
The biggest difference between us and, say, Harmony or Lane Hackers, is our ID and IFF itself.
This was rather on purpose, as we don't think it's been done before.
This is mostly for those who identify more with Rogue lore than other groups' lore.
We are possibly the first political Rogues to enter the scene. (We may be wrong in that assumption, and would gladly admit if we were, knowingly.)
We had a rather interesting encounter with one of your boys yesterday and we would like to congratulate you on the advances of cloaking technology. What your member did was completely IRP for a political party of sorts, to the point that we were referencing it over voice for the next few hours. Keep it up, cool beans.

Our pilot told us all about that encounter.
We were quite as amused as you.
Good times, good times.

In reality organised piracy is nearly always linked to political organisations.
These guys remind me of FARC. Organised petty crime funding a blue-collar armed revolution. Or like an organised version of the Red Hessians. There's a huge difference between something like this and the Blood Dragons, or the Bundschuh, or the Unioners who are sponsors of terror with social groundswell and political support but are an entirely different kind of "revolutionary" in that they don't want to topple the systems that enrich them.
Then there's the HF who are "revolutionaries(?)" but are like the Discovery equivalent of the Cardassian Union, replete with bling spikes.
THE SYNDIC LEAGUES
(A co-operative of Rheinland's Shipping Unions, retired from a life of piracy.)

Normally we don't participate in discussions however considering this is a reply from a senior member of the dev team, we have to correct the record...
The Lane Hackers is not a revolutionary faction. It is a pirate faction.
Lane Hacker activities are far different than Harmony's. For example, Harmony main activity is to fight LN, while we usually try to avoid law enforcement.
Hello, I like your stuff and it happens that I lead a faction that seeks out to get in contact and support various revolutionaries and bandits around Sirius - The Commune.
You also happen to wear Rogue ID and IFF. Our generic ally and something we've been looking for a long time but nobody serious used it.
I totally look forward to meet you in the game. Cheers.
