In review of the recent months of activity, as well as ongoing discussion within the ranks of the Association, a conclusion has been drawn by the group that the faction as it stands does not give sufficient contribution and presence in the action and development of its region of play and its neighbors.
Although unusual, a decision to resign the role of official faction and give some room for new creative input to the Hogosha has been made. The change is minimal, as it affects mostly the usage of an official faction ID, and forum organization.
The Hogosha Association as a faction will continue to exist, mostly as a group of friends who enjoy playing and storytelling related to the Space Yakuza and any similar variations (Fishing included). The Association will keep supporting an open area on discord for people interested in Hogosha play to gather up and set up their own paths.
In terms of Role Play changes, one may assume that the Association self declared "Representation of the Majority of the Hogosha Syndicates" is gone, and that while the Association is still a good percentage, it's no longer a majority within the syndicates.
IF you feel that this action is not wise, and there should be some official faction for this or other groups for representation, well why don't you do something about it?.
Sad news, but I understand your decision and I think it a wise one.

That's a real shame to see but I understand some of your reason as to why the decision was made. If anyone is planning to go for a new official Hogosha get in touch if you think BD| can help with that in anyway,
The Hogosha ID is a good one that is great fun to play. Unfortunately, in today's climate we simply don't have the player count for every single faction to be fully represented by suitable numbers. I guess it's a sign of the times.
