We found them from one of those 'cultist' drones. If we managed to get these canisters without any failsafes activating, there may well be more out there.

The Natio Octavarium. The name of your house has started to show up in our business sector's observations of current events. We most certainly weren't expecting a business request from you folks.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Rachel Snow. As you seem straight to the point, I will extend the same gesture. Most people tend to go to Cryer for matters like these. Ingenuus, while we're capable of handling things on a commission basis regarding organics (especially the dangerous ones), such jobs is not what we are known for. That being said, we do have personnel and labs geared for this sort of thing during the time that Hans Von Goeben was working with us.

Given the limited information you've supplied, the fact that these appear to be nanobots instead of a more classical chemical weapon does appear to make this a job which we would be capable of undertaking. It's a good business practice to only take jobs that you can accomplish. Or at least that's what some laywers and business people tell me.

You are searching for a neutralization agent, and a cure. Without preliminary study into what you have on your hands, we cannot promise immediate work. If we're lucky and the sample you have was manufactured poorly, we're looking at a time range at the soonest, of two weeks. If this is something which we have little reference on in regards to the nanobot operation and toxin effectiveness, the time-span required to complete a job like this will have to remain undefined. That being said, we'll take up the job under a few conditions.

I'm glad this is something your organization can probably handle. Let's simply say those of Octavarium haven't always seen eye-to-eye with Cryer.

Your terms are agreeable. Weaponization of such an agent would be writing our own death warrants.

Unfortunately, we haven't been able to determine much about these. As soon as our scanners registered their toxicity and nanoscale construction, all of our efforts went into containment. Survival means knowing your limits.

We are fully prepared to pay for the work, but it may be premature to discuss the exact payment. As you said, we don't have enough information to know how long the job would take.

Given that we believe these to be based on common nanobot construction techniques, we would be interested in a short-term means to shut down any nanobots that may be lurking in, for example, an abandoned habitation module with a minimum of collateral damage to the systems. Preferably drone-mountable. While I'm not particularly concerned about the Mellori drones we use to investigate such wrecks, that sort of remote observation is somewhat limited.

Did everyone get that massive blast of noise on Gallic frequencies, or just the Taus? We're working on analysis. In the meanwhile, we found a pile of corpses.

I should elaborate. There's an abandoned station we believe was used by the cultist drones, which we've been charting with our own remote drones. If we can ensure that it's clean, our habitation needs are covered once it's restored.

I've attached our preliminary scan data on these corpses. We don't know their origin. We don't know if they were the cultists, their victims, or hapless explorers. We suspect they fell victim to the cultists' nanoweapon, and may be of use in devising an antidote. We are prepared to offer you access to the installation in question for your own analysis, but recommend extreme caution.
